Cordené Gerlat

Office Administrator

Cordené Gerlat is the Office Assistant at the Foundation of Administrative Justice. Cordené is responsible for handling queries on the phone and by email, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining the FOAJ office space. Additionally, Cordené oversees and manages the Foundation’s course delivery, examinations, and issues certificates to graduates. Further, she plays a significant role in education and member support. Cordené holds the CTAJTM designation.

Cordené also holds a Rehabilitation Certificate and worked in that role for 21 years. Subsequently, she went on to join Children Services, where she worked as a case manager assisting families within the system to be able to develop to their potential, supported by enduring relationships, healthy families, and safe communities.

Cordené’s prior experience as a director of a Family Reunification program that reunited mothers, fathers, and their children marked a special chapter in her professional career. She is passionate about working with mental health and addictions. The Reunification program provided long-term housing and assistance to connect families with formal and informal resources in the community relevant to their needs and supported integrating children into their communities and schools. The position provided strong programmatic management, strategic vision, and leadership of a team responsible for overall program implementation. Additionally, Cordené worked to ensure the effectiveness and quality of all services and programs through monitoring, data management, research evaluation, supervision, and the development and enhancement of program efficiencies.

Cordené holds a Home Hemo Dialysis certificate to assist her husband, as this treatment fits their everyday life and plans.
