The Foundation of Administrative Justice (Foundation) is committed to fostering an inclusive environment among its directors, employees, instructors, volunteers, members, learners, and stakeholders by embracing diversity of all dimensions including (but not limited to) gender identities, ancestry, age, national origin, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicities, education, physical ability, and professional and life experience. We celebrate diversity and aim to build a welcoming space that values racial equity, intersectionality, and accessibility. We are committed to cultivating an environment where everyone is welcome, safe, and free to express their authentic selves and are treated equitably.
We are working towards this commitment by:
- Identifying and addressing barriers to accessing our services;
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase the diversity of our board and staff;
- Providing educational resources and learning opportunities that promote access and equity;
- Ensuring our board and staff are trained in the importance of diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces recognizing unconscious bias, neuro diversity, and cultural competencies; and
- Supporting our volunteer-led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee in its initiatives and recommendations to the Board.
